IMPORTANT NOTICE TO USERS OF SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 7 :
Following recent incidents reported by Samsung regarding its Galaxy Note 7 mobile phones and on the recommendation of the Federal Aviation Administration (the U.S. civil aviation authorities), we are asking you for this type of mobile phone :
- Not to use it on board.
- It must remain off.
- Not to be charged, it must not be connected to any power source (neither to a backup battery nor to an on-board power source).
- Not to be placed in checked baggage in the hold..

CABIN LuGGAGE
Generally speaking, you can take one piece of hand luggage on board the aircraft. However, its weight and dimensions may vary from one company to another.
For Ryanair, all passengers have the right to carry 1 small personal bag on board, which must be placed under the seat in front of them.
Be careful, don't forget to consult our Security section to find out what items are forbidden in your cabin luggage.
HOLD LUGGAGE
The maximum weight allowed for your hold baggage will depend on the airline you are flying with.

LUGGAGE FOR YOUR BABY
For Ryanair flights, children from 8 days to the day before the age of 2 are allowed to travel on the lap of an adult. Transport is charged at 30€ per single journey. For more information, please visit this page.

If on your arrival at Poitiers Biard Airport, you have not collected your luggage or it has been damaged, please go to the airport reception desk to make a declaration as soon as your flight arrives. Then contact the "Baggage" service of your airline company.
SECURITY
VIGIPIRATE PLAN
Please be aware that carry-on baggage must go through an X-ray screening machine. On a screen, the security officer will see the contents of the baggage. Your carry-on baggage may also be visually inspected or manually inspected.
If you wear a pacemaker or any other implanted technical device (insulin pumps or even some hearing aids) inform the security guard and do not go under the gate. The check will then be done manually.
It is in your own interest to submit to the security check.
These checks are carried out before arrival in the boarding hall.
We remind you that for security reasons mobile phones are not allowed in the boarding area of the aircraft and that photos are strictly forbidden from the security checkpoint.

Prohibited items
In addition to the hazardous materials that are strictly forbidden on board the aircraft (both in the hold and in the cabin), you may not take with you or in your hand luggage :
- Liquids (capacity > 100 ml)
- Cosmetics (cream/gel > 100 ml)
- Aerosols (capacity > 100 ml)
- Knives / Scissors
- Blunt or sharp objects
- Weapons or imitations
Attention: all bottles over 100ml will be discarded. We therefore remind all our passengers that small plastic water bottles are strictly forbidden at the security checkpoint. Tins are strictly forbidden in the cabin luggage whatever the capacity.

Restricted items
Liquids (such as mineral water, perfume, drink, lotion...), cosmetics (such as cream, shower gel, mascara, shampoo), aerosols (such as deodorant, hairspray) are authorized under certain conditions:
All liquids, cosmetics or aerosols must :
- Fits in containers of less than 100ml.
- To be presented in a transparent reclosable plastic soap of maximum 20cm x 20cm. Only one bag per person is allowed
Special cases for your cabin baggage
You can carry with you, in a quantity adapted to the duration of the journey :
- Food for your baby, but the security officer reserves the right to have you test these products.
- Any liquid medication required during the flight must be accompanied by a prescription.
- Insulin for diabetic passengers, must be accompanied by a prescription.
- Liquid purchases made after security checks at the dispensers in the boarding lounges.
HOLD LUGGAGE
All sharp objects are prohibited in the cabin and must therefore be placed in checked baggage..
Prohibited items
You may not take the following items with you on the plane (neither as checked or carry-on baggage):
- Explosives, ammunition, firecrackers...
- Radioactive materials ;
- Flammable products, paint ...
- Corrosive substances, oxidants, irritants (including detergents and washing powder) ;
- Toxic chemicals, poison...
- Magnetic masses :
- Gas

Permitted items
Liquids, cosmetics, aerosols, sharp or blunt objects (golf clubs) are allowed in the hold.
AIRPORT TIP: PLACE MOST OF YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS IN YOUR HOLD LUGGAGE, KEEP IN YOUR HAND LUGGAGE ONLY WHAT IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY FOR YOUR TRIP.
