In accordance with the law of 2004, the airport was transferred by the State and, since 2006, has belonged to the Syndicat Mixte de l'Aéroport Poitiers-Biard (SMAPB). Its current members are the Département de la Vienne (65%) and Grand Poitiers Communauté Urbaine (35%).
Since January 1, 2020, the airport has been managed by the Société d'Exploitation et d'Action Locale de l'Aéroport Poitiers-Biard (SEALAPB). Born of the collaboration between the engineering subsidiaries of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Finistère and Aix Marseille Provence, SEALAR is the complementary association between entrepreneurial vocation and engineering: INSFO - affiliated with the airport operator Brest Bretagne, CCI AMP Infrastructures - administrator of Aéroport Marseille Provence and the TPFI group - a key player in airport engineering.
